WEDDING AT BOWLING GREEN COUNTRY CLUB FRONT ROYAL VIRGINIA

This day perfectly encapsulates why I love summer weddings!  I drove out early in the morning, while the air was still cool but the humidity threatened of a sticky afternoon.  As I made my way up Route 522, I was met by the Blue Ridge Mountains, the sweet smell of country air, and milkweed thriving all along the road.  When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the excited bustle of the bridal party in anticipation of the day to come. 

Anna and Mike said, "I do," in the chapel of Christ the King during a beautiful Tridentine Latin Mass.  We then headed over and captured some gorgeous shots on the grounds of Bowling Green Country Club.  Besides getting to photograph a beautiful and ridiculously photogenic couple, what I enjoyed the most about this wedding was the genuine friendship, love, and joy shared by the entire bridal party.  Throughout the day, here were many happy smiles, tears, and emotional moments to be had by all.

While the reception was in full swing with dancing and merriment, we were blessed with a beautiful sunset, so I snuck out with the couple and we enjoyed a mini shoot while basking in the last few golden rays of a perfect day.
