AUTUMN PICNIC ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY

What a precious autumn evening this was…Photography sessions are just that much sweeter when they’re for your oldest and dearest friends. Corinne and I have known each other for the majority of our lives at this point; our families met in the Charlottesville area years ago and spent countless hours in each other’s company and with visits to each other’s homes. We would even say that we were just one large family, and honestly, Corinne has always felt like a sister to me.
So a year or two ago, the first time that Corinne mentioned Domenic to me, I just knew by her expression that she had met her special someone.
It was hardly a surprise when they announced their engagement this fall!
While we were scheduling the engagement session, I couldn’t get it out of my head that it needed to involve a picnic—it just seemed to fit Corinne perfectly. I soon learned that picnic outings were routine for them—They had everything we needed, picnic basket included! I was so excited to approach an session from such a lifestyle perspective. I am so grateful for Corinne and Domenic for letting me accompany them on one of their intimate little outings by the Rivanna River.
